R ob Theisen will be representing Local 169 in the upcoming Great Lakes Area Boilermaker Apprentice Competition, which will be held from May 12 - 16, 2008 in Philadelphia.  If you happen to see Rob, wish him luck!

A ttention all members:  Effective October 15, 2007 all members working for US Steel and Severstal are required to wear Metatarsal Protecting Boots.  Please make sure that you have the proper boots if you are dispatched to either one of these job sites.
