special election to fill the Trustee vacancy on our Executive Board. A
special meeting will be held on Friday, September 3, 2010 at 8:00pm at our
union hall in Allen Park, MI. Both nominations and voting will be held at
that meeting. Please make every effort to attend this very important
meeting.

testing will be held September 8 - 10, 2010 at our training center in Allen
Park.

Labor Day Parade Info
 |
Area One:
To commemorate our 115th
anniversary, Boilermakers Local 169 will be leading off the parade this year
in Detroit. The parade will be held on, Monday, September 6, 2010,
will proceed as usual east along Michigan Avenue towards Campus Martius
downtown. The building trades will line up before the parade, as usual,
along Trumbull Avenue south of Michigan Avenue. The parade will start at 9
am - please make it to the staging area by 8:30am. A picnic will be
held at our union hall in Allen Park immediately following the picnic.
Area Two:
The Labor
Day Parade and picnic will be on Monday, September 6, 2010. Parking and the
picnic will be at the corner of Shoreline Drive and Seventh Street (Heritage
Landing). A shuttle bus for the parade will run from 9:00am to 10:40am.
The picnic will follow right after the parade.
Area
Four: The Rock parade will be held
on Saturday, September 4, 2010 at 10:00am and the Ishpeming parade will be
held on Monday, September 6, 2010 at 10:00am. Please contact Jim

Three retirees will meet for lunch
at the Auburn Hotel on September 15, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. The Auburn Hotel is
located on Midland Rd. at 9 Mile Rd. in Auburn, Michigan.
Retirees from all areas are welcome.
