Help us raise our voices to End the LockoutDear friend of the locked out CESSCO workers,
Thank you for signing your name to show your support for the workers STILL LOCKED OUT by CESSCO and its parent company, Canerector Inc. It’s now been over nine months since Boilermakers were locked out of their jobs, and the company won’t budge.
We need your help.
Tuesday, March 16 beginning at 9 a.m. Mountain Daylight Time (10 CDT/11 EDT), we are asking you participate in a Day of Action calling for CESSCO and Canerector officials to end the lockout, give jobs back to the Boilermakers and return to the bargaining table in good faith.
You will find the full Day of Action toolkit at www.EndOurLockout.org/DOA and most of the materials below. Ready-to-run social media graphics are downloadable from the website. Please do not share anything on social media or engage in the campaign until after the Day of Action begins tomorrow.
We are asking you to do one or all of the following support activities:
1. Copy, paste, and send the following emails to (there are "click-to-send" versions at the website):

Dear Ms. Hawkins,
As the CEO of Canerector, parent company of CESSCO, you are responsible for the lockout of hard-working people in Edmonton.
By now it is clear that by bussing in “replacement workers” who don’t have work history with CESSCO, you’re putting your company’s reputation on the line. How is that bearing out for your customers and the products they count on? For future business? Bring back the union Boilermakers, the men and women who’ve proved they’re invested in your success.
The Boilermakers you locked out are committed to holding their ground, and they are not alone. I stand with them, and I am calling on you to do the right thing for the company and the workers: End this lock out immediately, return the Boilermakers to their jobs, rejoin them at the bargaining table and secure your company’s future.
Sincerely,
(your name)

Dear Mr. Garrido,
I am writing, because CESSCO’s lockout of Boilermakers has gone on far too long. It’s time for you to end the lockout and bring back the workers who have dedicated decades to the quality of CESSCO products.
Bussing in less qualified “replacement workers” is putting CESSCO’s reputation on the line. How is it bearing out for your customers and the products they count on? For future business? Bring back the union Boilermakers, the men and women who’ve proved they’re invested in your success.
By now you have seen that Boilermakers are committed to holding their ground. And they are not alone. I stand with them, and I am calling on you to do the right thing: End this lock out immediately, return the Boilermakers to their jobs, rejoin them at the bargaining table and secure CESSCO’s future.
Sincerely,
