Area 1 - July 19, 2025 at Camp Dearborn, 1700 General Mills Drive, Milford, Mi. 48380. Festivities begin at noon. Please bring a side dish to share.
Area 2 - September 1, 2025 following the Labor Day Parade at Heritage Park. The address is 1050 Seventh Street, Muskegon, Mi. 49441.
Area 3 – August 16, 2025 at Sanford Lake beginning at noon.
Area 4 – August 2, 2025 at Pioneer Trails Park, Escanaba, New Pavilion, 6822 US -2, Gladstone, Mi. 49837. Festivities are 1-5 PM.

2023 Labor Day parade and picnic area 1

After a two-year hiatus, the Annual Detroit Building Trades Labor Day Parade resumed. Thank you to everyone that made it out to march and stand up for our work and all unions. Everyone came to the hall following the parade and enjoyed lunch and spending time with other boilermakers and their families.

SkillsUSA Competition
Congratulations to Kaden Kontranowski, Jillian Osentoski, and Nathan McCatty. They took 1st place in the state competition and will be going to Atlanta to represent Boilermakers Local 169 Apprentice Program in the national competition in July.

Congratulations to Evan Mahoney on advancing to the Great Lakes Competition. He competed against Cody Gledhill, Caleb Barron and Kaden Kontranowski. They all did a fantastic job!

2022 Dinner Dance
A Great time was had by all who attended our recent dinner dance. It has been a long time since we've been able to gather for such events. I encourage all members to take advantage of these opportunities in the future. Hopefully, the downturn of the pandemic will afford us opportunities to gather for picnics, parades and other activities.
