Project Freedom
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
The video below shows work being performed on the initial phases of Project Freedom. Your Pension Fund, working through its investment manager, has committed $25 million to this project which consists of two combustion turbine generators that will each produce 325 megawatts of electricity.
Additionally, two connected HRSG units will produce another 200 MW. This $800 + million project is being constructed in Salem Township, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, and will provide much needed Boilermaker man hours for our Brotherhood.
