Holiday Greetings Brothers and Sisters,

It has been some time since my last blog. I would like to thank each and every member that helped us during our challenging fall outage season. Together, we showed our customer/owners who the true "specialists" are in our industry. It is very gratifying to hear what an outstanding job all of our signatory contractors did. It makes me very proud, as your Business Manager, to represent such a great group of hardworking, talented Boilermakers liked the members of Local 169.

Please make every effort to attend the union meeting this December 13th at our union hall. Food and refreshments will be provided. We look forward to seeing you at this time to close out a great year with anticipation of a prosperous and safe year to come.

With the coming of a new year, 2020 marks the 125th Anniversary of Boilermakers Local 169. To commemorate this milestone, I encourage every member to join us at the Atheneum Hotel for our annual Dinner Dance. Please don't miss this night of dinner, drinks, and live entertainment.

As we celebrate 125 years, I would like to thank every member that made this possible: from those who signed our original charter, those who worked, retired, and literally "passed the torch", and those who are just beginning their journey as apprentices to become journeymen.

Together, Local 169  has accomplished many things. Together, we have built a great local, and together, we will face the challenges of the future.
